Program CMD300 Version 1.0

CyberAmp communication on COM 2 at 19200 baud.
Channels 1-8 selected by default.
Responses are verbose.
Most PC computers should be able to communicate with the CyberAmp at 9600 or 19,200 bps. The
correct communication speed can be found with the "FINDSPEED" command that will exercise the
communications line starting at the maximal speed until it finds a speed at which communications is
reliable and error free.
CMD300 FINDSPEED
Once the optimal speed is determined, the program offers the user the choice of saving this optimal
speed as the default speed (if it is not already the default).
The CMD300 program also remembers the last channel-oriented command that was given so that
consecutive uses of the same command do not require the command name but only require the
command modifier. Note that the memory of the last command is erased when a non-channel oriented
command is issued.
CMD300 GAIN 10
CMD300 20
The second invocation of CMD300 is the command "GAIN 20" but need not mention GAIN because
the previous channel-oriented command was a GAIN command.
Command-Line Mode
In command-line mode, commands are entered at the DOS prompt by typing the name of the CMD300
program followed by the command. For example:
CMD300 STATUS
(or
C STATUS
if you renamed CMD300 to C)
Interactive Mode
The CMD300 program can also operate in interactive mode. In this mode the CMD300 program stays
loaded in the computer memory so commands need not invoke it. This mode is entered by using the
"INTERACTIVE" command on the command line.
CMD300 INTERACTIVE
In this mode the screen is divided into an output area above and an input command line below. The
input area displays the last command that was entered, and this can be edited using the cursor keys
either in Insert or in Overtype mode (selected by toggling the <Insert> key). To process the command
line hit the <Enter> key. If the previous command was incorrectly edited hit the <Esc> key to restore
the previous command line. Hit <Esc> to exit Interactive Mode and return to the DOS prompt.
