After changing the isolation mode, the server runs in worker process isolation mode.

Effects of Isolation Mode on the IIS MMC Snap-In

Several changes to the MMC snap-in for IIS occur after you change the application isolation mode

to worker process isolation mode as the figures below show. Figure 53 shows IIS Explorer in IIS

5.0 isolation mode, and the Figure 54 shows it in worker process isolation mode, which includes

the addition of an Application Pools folder:
