After clicking Finish, the server must be rebooted, and then the system should be inspected to

ensure Active Directory is functioning properly. The first thing to check is DNS. Use the DNS MMC

snap-in to inspect the records created by Active Directory. It is not possible or necessary to know

all the records created by Active Directory, but an administrator should know enough to make sure

the correct types of records were created.

The following figure shows the DNS Administrator and the DNS records created by Active

Directory.
