What’s Next?

After an inventory is gathered, the next step is to build a readiness plan. Start by identifying the

critical applications you intend to support, verify their compatibility, and obtain available patches

from Microsoft. Next, use Application Compatibility Administrator to apply a series of possible

fixes to applications. Like Analyzer, Administrator is available as a free download from Microsoft

and is part of the ACT 3.0 Toolkit.
